Are you feeling confused, trapped and misunderstood? Do you feel powerless and hopeless? Are you isolating yourself from others because life seems heavy and draining? Do you fear that this is never going to end? I will be your biggest cheerleader - together we can make sense of the noise in your head and turn it back into music.
About me and my practice
My Sessions are very lively, you can scream, curse, cry, shout or swear. it is your space, it is confidential and non-judgemental. Therapy is what you want it to be and I am here to facilitate and walk with you for a while in your journey - wherever it may lead to. I want my clients to achieve greater independence for any current or future problems that may arise.
I might share my own experience with you, carefully and appropriately if I feel it could support you in your understanding. You have the autonomy to decide what you need and want to flourish. I want you to increase your self-understanding by me reflecting and carefully clarifying questions, and emotions but without giving you advise.
Experience
I have been working as a counsellor in alcohol and drug recovery, which has opened my mind and my understanding of people with addiction enormously.
I also work with loss and bereavement; that could be a miscarriage or loss of a parent, sibling through but not only through suicide.
I work with anxiety and depression, people who are neurodiverse and from the LGBT+ Community.
When I meet someone, I meet them as another person, and just as they are not as a therapist. I am not the expert in this therapeutic relationship - you will know yourself better then I ever will be.
